The Brown's

We have been going to the Mercy Care Centre since 1999. Each time God blesses us so much. We are both retired. From 1975-1982, we served in Tanzania as medical missionaries so we speak Swahili. Our love for Africa and the people gets stronger everyday. Our two children Bryan and Bethany and their spouses, Charley and Rosette, each have 2 children. So, we have 4 grandchildren-Quentin, Megan, Sasha, and Kyle. Megan will be going with us to Kenya this year. We pray that each person going will be touched and blessed as they serve at the Mercy Care Centre. Also, we pray that those going will make it a lifetime commitment of service. We are excited. This is the largest group ever and I think God is going to protect and bless us richly.

Getting Ready to Go

It has been difficult getting all the suitcases packed and all the things collected and ready to go. This week Betsy and I are going to repack the books in M bags to send. I am going to try to get the T-shirts from Mr. Patterson in Rocky Mount also. The Walkers are busy getting a dance and costumes ready and Joy is working on a song for the choir competition. We leave in 4 weeks! As the time ticks down be in prayer for the school. They are preparing for the music competition and finishing their last term for the year. We have 21 going this summer so we greatly need your prayers for our safety and travel mercies! Blessings, Carroll
