Note from Group in Tanzania
I just spoke with Wayne and Carroll and they arrived at the coast today. They have had a wonderful time seeing many animals on another safari. They are happy for some relaxing time at the beach. They will return to Kenya on Sat and then home to the USA on Sunday. Please keep them in your prayers for safe travels!

Hi, everyone,
Thanks for the update! I was hoping that these travels were going smoothly, so it is good to hear that all is well. We will keep them in our prayers for safe travels . . . all the way back home!

Friends: We are delighted to know that you made it safely into Tanzania. We hope you made a good look at the Choo Cha Wabatisti and Kili on your way in from Kenya. We so wish we were with you in Tanzania and know you will be blessed. Hope you find the roads into Pangani better than last year and not as many "weddings" at the Y this year :0)
We also pray that the border and into Tanzania, is not as dry/drought and that the villages there have been blessed with some rain.
We are at Myrtle Beach for a few days and Lydia just said, as we look over the hundreds of people here...."a little different than last year in Pangani"...SHE LOVES PANGANI!!!
Have a wonderful "rest of the trip" and we pray that all will continue to go well on the travels. We will pray for traveling grace, safety and peace. Wayne and Carroll, take a look at the "southern cross for us" while on the beach and take that trip to Maziwi....the group will love it.
Love to all,
The Greenes in NC
PS. Lydia asked you to remember that little "finger piano" if you can. Thanks a bunch!!!!
So glad the trip is going well. I was bummed to have missed the samosas at the airport - i had no idea that at Nairobi airport once you had checkd in you were locked in!!! i had samosas by myself and after 2 unremarkable (but lonely!) flights was picked up by my gorgeous hubby and his folks in durban. i have been catching up on lots of missed sleep and conversations, and enjoying my cute niece and some TV. very relaxuing after a hectic few weeks in kenya. btw i loved patrick's church on sunday - def worth the car schmozzle afterwards!
All the best and stay in touch.

(P.S. Wayne, can you give Anni a receipt for my tax return? ta!)
This year and every year I would so like to be with you again but that is not possible. However, with this blog, my pictures of last year in my head and the memories in my heart, I am surely finding that I can go again and I am there now! I have traveled with you to Pangani, gone thru the police checks and have seen all of the oranges stacked on the side of the road and the bags of them pushed into the window. I have viewed the Masai, young and old, in their purple clothing in Tananzia, herding their cattle as we pass by and have seen and smelled the smoke from the charcoal pits. I have viewed the villages once again with the children waving as we pass by, riding (scrunched up) in the vehicle to Pangani, passing the trucks that have broken down on the side of the road. I have many times sprayed mosquito repellent, listened at the dogs barking and enjoyed the popcorn in the lounging area at the beautiful beach. I have felt the warm water of the Indian Ocean on my legs as we waded in the dark to board the dhow at 4am to go to Zanzibar! I have laid on the wooden plank of the boat, looking up at the stars and been so grateful to have had this experience-to hopefully make the children's lives a little better but finding in the process that my life has been made better. Thank you Carroll and Wayne for your continuing mission with MCC but also for giving me, and all who have gone with you, this never to be forgotten, life-changing opportunity. I will be forever grateful as I am sure those who have been with you this year, will be. Love to all. Judie
Wayne, Carroll and Team: You folks have been in our thoughts and prayers today and all during the week. We are praying that God will make every provision for you at the airport(s), during your flights and your arrival back home. We are so excited to see you again and hear about the trip. May God give you traveling mercies and grace.
With love to each of you,

A chance in a lifetime for Meagan. WOW!!!!
Have been reading the blogs, praying, and thinking of all this experience for each of you who hasn't been before.
Glad the last 'leg of the trip' is here and almost over.
MORE LOVE, prayers and hugs
